E+H Indumax CLS54 Toroidal Conductivity Sensor
Indumax CLS54
The Endress+Hauser Indumax CLS54 is an inductive conductivity sensor designed for harsh industrial and hygienic applications. Engineered with corrosion-resistant PFA or PEEK body materials and available with digital Memosens technology, it delivers reliable process control without electrode polarization or fouling issues.
Electrodeless Measurement Principle
The Endress+Hauser Indumax CLS54 is a heavy-duty toroidal (inductive) conductivity sensor specifically engineered for demanding process applications where traditional contact electrodes fail. Operating on an electromagnetic induction principle, the sensor measures solution conductivity without direct electrical contact with the liquid medium. This non-contact design completely prevents electrode polarization, surface fouling, and coating issues caused by sticky or crystallizing liquids.
Robust Hygienic and Chemical Resistance
Built with robust, chemical-resistant materials like PFA or PEEK, the Indumax CLS54 easily withstands aggressive acids, strong alkalis, and high-temperature cleaning processes, including Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Sterilization-in-Place (SIP) routines. The smooth, seamless surface design ensures maximum hygienic compliance and prevents residual buildup across continuous manufacturing operations.
Intelligent Digital Signal Processing
Equipped with advanced measurement capabilities and digital signal processing, the sensor enables robust, interference-free transmission to connected transmitters. The Indumax CLS54 allows reliable calibration and maintenance management, reducing downtime, extending calibration intervals, and streamlining routine maintenance schedules for process engineers worldwide.
