Yes. The MFP series features hot-tapping technology that allows technicians to drill the pipe opening and install the ball valve and flow sensor under normal operating pressure without shutting down the pipeline or draining the system.

Q2: What are the main straight pipe run requirements for accurate installation?
To maintain flow profile stability, we recommend installing the sensor with at least 10D (diameters) of straight pipe upstream and 5D downstream from any pipe bends, valves, or obstructions.

Q3: Is the MFP insertion magmeter suitable for non-conductive liquids?
No. Like all electromagnetic flowmeters, the MFP requires the liquid medium to have a minimum electrical conductivity of 20 uS/cm. It is ideal for water, wastewater, conductive chemicals, and aqueous solutions, but cannot measure oils, pure gas, or deionized pure water.

Q4: How do I select the proper insertion depth for my pipeline?
